About this event

IFC is hosting quarterly Sustainable Forestry Investor Clubs with the primary goal of providing education and investment opportunities.

TO ATTEND, you must be one of the following:
1) A Sustainable Forestry social venture, or related
2) A social venture, community leader/member looking to replicate this model in your geography or area of interest.
3) An accredited investor. Please select the "Accredited Investor" ticket on Eventbrite when registering.
4) A Club Member — to become a Club Member, please select the "Club Member" ticket on Eventbrite when registering, and please give us more details in the notes field when you get your ticket. Club Members include all of the above.

Project Description:
How do we drive more investment capital to social ventures (i.e. projects, nonprofits, small businesses, startups, cooperatives, tandem-hybrids, and funds) working in the sustainable forestry sector to reduce our fire risk, improve forest health, provide good jobs, and construct buildings that improve climate? In partnership with USDA Forest Service, Impact Finance Center is working to build the infrastructure to achieve this goal. The infrastructure includes Investor Accelerators (Impact Investing Giving Circles) and Investor Clubs that act as a marketplace to directly connect investors with the projects they care about.

To date, our Sustainable Forestry Investor Clubs have identified over 560 investors and 100 social ventures. Our goal is to catalyze $100M in Sustainable Forestry investments through this new direct investing ecosystem.
